A review of the firing board and the makers’ clay readiness cards finds a gap between the total in the public summary and the conditions recorded at the common ceramic kiln at Reed Terrace. The difference does not prove that anyone misstated the file. It shows what the public count leaves out: two makers need the same slow cooling period for different clay bodies.
The the firing board and the makers’ clay readiness cards lists 37 firings started within the posted window; the previous window lists 43. Lyra Ash checked both against visits to the workshop or room alongside interviews with its users. The source was checked against a second copy held by Aven Rowe. No dated correction to either copy was present when the comparison closed.
The old schedule alternates by week. Makers say clay readiness can change with the drying room temperature. The office has not supplied a separate measure that would settle the disagreement, so the two explanations remain competing accounts.
This report supports a narrower finding: the count is repeatable, but it is not enough to decide how to share a cooling period without giving one workshop permanent priority.
The steward attaches the original field record and the last method note. The Year third, budbreak window 3 file remains open for its scheduled decision. The kiln group will compare readiness cards with actual cooling times before changing turns.
